How the waitlist works

When a grade has more applications than seats, families are placed on a ranked waitlist. Rank is determined by lottery with statutory preferences (such as siblings of current students or children of staff) applied as weighted factors. Your rank is shown in the portal.

Seats are offered in order: When a family declines an offer or the deadline passes, that seat becomes available and is automatically offered to the next ranked family. You'll be notified immediately by email with a new offer and deadline.

We can't promise everyone gets a seat, but you'll always know where you stand. Your rank stays the same until a seat is offered to you, or the school year ends. We're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
